Nolan's Surgery

Nolan had his surgery yesterday. He did really well and the medical staff was excellent. Nolan was only nervous when they were putting in his IV line. He went in at 12:30pm and was back out to recovery by 2:15pm. He will have a scare that runs from where the top of the ear meets the head around the back to where the bottom of the ear meets the head. He is pretty proud of it.

Hayden's 6 Month Check-Up

Hayden had his 6 month check up yesterday and is perfectly healthy. He weighed in at 16 pounds 6 ounces and is 26 1/4 inches long. He is really starting to show his personality. He loves to chase Brea around even though is not really crawling yet. He army crawls all over the place and is super fast. He loves to talk and tells all kinds of great stories. To bad we can't understand them. He is almost sleeping through the night. He gets up at 2am to eat and goes back to sleep until 7am. He has such a good temperament (we have been blessed not to have any cranky kids)and loves to give kisses. We sure are blessed to have him in our family.

Brea's Big Girl Bed

After 2 weeks of Brea not sleeping in her crib we decided to try and have her sleep in a big girl bed. Elton modified Brea's crib in to a toddler bed and she loved it (until she actually had to sleep in it). Needless to say I have been sleeping on her floor (not comfortable at all) until she falls asleep. Hopefully it won't last to much longer.

Small Movements

I felt baby Payton move for the first time tonight. You forget how amazing it is to have a baby growing in your tummy. I have my ultrasound on the 24th and can't wait to see her again.

Ladies Night Out

I went to an Arbonne party a frind of mine was hosting last week and before I left Brea was wearing my shoes. It was so funny.

Sweet Potato Face

Hayden loves his sweet potatoes.

Blog Make Over

So I decided to give my blog a make over.... It took me ALL day... well all of both nap times to be truthful. I spent the whole morning trying to figure out what I was doing, but in the end here is the finished product.

Update on Nolan's ear

Nolan will be having surgery on 9/26 to fix his bad ear. His surgery will last about 2 hours as they will have to go in through the back of his ear to put in the tube. He seems to be ok with the news for now but I'm sure as the date gets closer he will be nervous.

Nolan and his bad ear

So anyway.... yesterday I had to take Nolan to the hospital to have a CT scan on his head. The doctor called me this morning with the results and guess what at the age of 14 will have to have a tube put in his ear. He never even had ear infections until 2 years ago. I will know in the next few days when the surgery will happen. Poor Nolan......
