36 random things about me
1. I was born on the 24th of July... anyone who lives in Utah (or is LDS) knows that this date is bigger than the 4th of July for celebrations. When I was a kid my dad used to tell me that the parades and fireworks were all for me.... thanks dad.
2. When I was in the 4th grade on picture day they lined all the kids biggest to smallest and I was the shortest person in my whole school. Granted there were only 29 kids in my school and I have never been tall to say the least.
3. My fist car was a Mustang II... I hated the car and called it the pinto bastard... I ended up trading my dad for his 1979 Chevy S-10 that I could barely see over the steering wheel.
4. My first job was a Taco Bell in Page, Az.... yeah... had to quit because I smelled like refried beans all the time... so not cool when you are 15.
5. I have more times than I am old. In a past life I must have been a nomad.
6. My favorite place on Earth is Vegas.... I love the chaos there. I don’t gamble nor am I big drinker I just love the place. However I can only go for 3 days at a time otherwise the sensory overload is way to much.
7. I’m addicted to Blistex…. I have a tube of it in every room in the house, my purse, the diaper bag… Your lips can never be to soft and supple.
8. My biggest pet peeve is how the toilet paper rolls off the roll… it has to come from the top, never the bottom… I even change it at other people’s houses.
9. I wish I was more artistic. I am super analytical therefore artsy stuff escapes me… but I do try.
10. My favorite flowers are Star Gazer Lillies.
11. I love to read fiction books about real people in European history. Times were so romantic back then. Sappy I know.
12. I got married on Cinco de Mayo… when we picked the date it was just the first Saturday in May. We didn’t realize it was Cinco de Mayo until my oldest son asked why we were getting married on Cinco de Mayo.
13. I love, love, love that my husband still calls me after years of being together just to say he’s thinking about me….. He’s so sweet.
14. I am a Leo in the astrological cart and a tiger in the Chinese astrological chart. I am very feline... just ask Elton.
15. I have a love / hate relationship with my cats. I love them when they are calm and peaceful….. not so much the rest of the time... must be a feline thing.
16. I always wanted a big family… you know the kind that you see in the movies, where everybody gets together for the holidays and they are so dysfunctionally (I know that is not really a word) happy. And after years of not thinking I would ever have any more kids I finally got my big happy hopeful more functional than dysfunctional family.
17. I have blue eyes that change color with the sky. On sunny days they are super blue and on cloudy days they are gray.
18. My all time favorite color is blue. My favorite trendy color is Orange (this week anyway)
19. I love the ocean, but hate the way it smells.
20. My favorite food is shredded chicken burritos smothered in green chili... best place I have ever had it is at Benny's Restaurant & Cantina in Devner.
21. Right now my toe nails are painted sparkly blue with white flowers
22. I love Summer... even when it is 3 degrees hotter than hell.
23. I love the sound of the wind blowing threw the trees.
24. My favorite movie is Braveheart. Followed by a close second is the Twilight Saga. Go team Edward... love you.

27. I love the smell of Mandarin Oranges. If they made a perfume that had the same exact smell I would by it by the gallons.
28. My dad is the only person who really truly understands me... go figure.
29. If I could live anywhere in the world, I would just wander around and live everywhere for a short time.
