I was going to do one long post to get everyone up to date on what happened with our rental house... and every time I set down to do it I have to get right back up to feed a baby... change a baby... chase a baby... yell at a teenager for making noise that will wake a baby... feed another baby... change another baby... tell a teenager to stop fighting with a toddler............. So without further delay here are our updates. If you read them backwards it will make more sense.

We got our "new" stove and dishwasher. Now we can finally move in.... 3 weeks after arriving in Arizona......

As promised by the property manager we got out new carpet.... what was supposed to be 4 hours turned out to be an all day event. First I had Kelson and Nolan take Brea and Hayden to the park to play. Then they went swimming for an hour.... yes swimming in March.... I love Arizona.

Then we ate lunch and had nap time in the back of Elton's truck.... keep in mind the carpet guy was supposed to be finished no later than 1pm.....

After a week of not having a stove to cook on.... we had to cook everything on the grill and microwave.... the management company sent out this pile of garbage..... note the rusted burners and trays......

And all the dirt on it from being outside for a long time.....

Thus we had now hit my breaking point.... I wanted out of this crap house. Elton called and left a voicemail for the property manager letting him know we wanted our money back and would vacate the property as soon as we found a new place. And places are a dime a dozen out here. After a short fight with the property manager he assured us that all the issues (carpet, stove & dishwasher) would be fixed ASAP.

So to top off us having to rip out the stinky carpet we also had to rip out the stove and dishwasher because they both had mice living in them.... I hate mice... they are gross.
